The Climate Corporate Accountability Act (SB260) will require major corporations who do business in California and make over $1 billion annually to publicly disclose their full carbon footprint in a way that is understandable and accessible to the public.  

California has historically been seen as a global leader on climate policy, but we have not done nearly enough based on what science tells us is needed. The scale of the climate crisis requires us to be bold in our solutions and to move quickly in order to save our collective future. This policy is what this moment is calling for and is a clear next step. CLCV is ready to fight for what is necessary.
